Welcome to The High Desert Cruisers Car Club

WHO AND WHAT ARE THE HIGH DESERT CRUISERS?

The High Desert Cruisers Car Club was founded in January 2001. Having had numerous discussions after local car shows, the idea of creating a car club became a reality. Thus, the High Desert Cruisers became a Car Club located in the Antelope Valley.

With 28 members, the car club held its first meeting in Lancaster on December 06, 2001, at which time the Mayor, Frank Roberts, performed the Charter Ceremonies. The club doubled in membership before the 2001 year was over, and continues to grow today. As the club has grown, we have become a nonprofit organization to give back to the community and raise funds for local charities in the Antelope Valley.

The High Desert Cruisers has by-laws, here are a few of the requirements:

  • You must be 18 years of age and have a valid license.
  • Your vehicle can be a classic, specialty car, or import, including a motorcycle.
  • Although it is not mandatory, it is encouraged that members participate in meetings and functions. We encourage your suggestions and respect your opinions.
  • Activities and events of the High Desert Cruisers include car shows and cruises to various locations throughout the season, member family picnics, BBQs, potlucks, parades, and ceremonies throughout the Antelope Valley.
  • NO ALCOHOL is allowed at any function where it is prohibited.
  • BURNOUTS or anything that might cause public or personal damage is not permitted.
  • NO ILLEGAL DRUG USE is allowed at any of our functions.
  • We hope that you have lots of fun and enjoy our club and car shows.
